Forms of Communication

Hello Parents and Guardians,

I would like to remind everyone about the different forms of communication that Piara Waters Primary School uses to communicate with the parents.

Please choose one form of communication in order to receive whole school information:
Room 21 also has this blog as a form of communication to directly send information between the teacher, student and parents. However, this is generally focused around the classroom level. It would be fantastic if you could have one of these whole school communication forms to allow you to be informed about the latest messages either being sent by myself or at a whole school level.

Thank you
Simone Riley

Character Descriptions

This week we have started learning about fairytales and are focusing on character descriptions. In our Literacy lessons we have been brainstorming wow words to describe the Big, Bad Wolfs appearance and personality. We have also been learning and writing similes!

Please have a read of some of these amazing Big Bad Wolf character descriptions:

The Big, Bad Wolf is as dangerous as a lion, and will gobble you up in a flash! If you try to run he's as fast as a cheetah and he doesn't like it when his food runs away because he gets as mad as the HULK! He's got fangs as sharp as a sword that can chop you head off in one big slash! Would you be friends with him? Because I know I wouldn't!
By Karabo

The Big, Bad Wolf is as evil as a criminal and as lethal as a T-rex biting a little girl! He is as fast as as lightning and is also as fierce as a cheetah! He is as dark as the beaming night, and his eyes are as hot as lava! He is like a cheeky monkey swinging on trees and as cunning as a shark. You would never want to see him!
By Erin

The Big, Bad Wolf is as evil as a blood sucking vampire and as cheeky as a ghost. He attempts to disguise himself as Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother and even tries to eat her as well! He even has razor sharp teeth like a Great White Shark. His eyes are like hot, glowing lava and his fur is as rough as a bears. He can strike as fast as a leopard and is as fierce as a lion. Would you like to meet him?
By Soham

The Big, Bad Wolf is the size of a car and he is as fast as a jet. He is darker than his own shadow but he is as clever as spy covering his own tracks. He has devil eyes that glow like red, glistening lava and can move like the wind! He disguises himself as much as he can and has a large, bushy tail. The Big, Bad Wolf has sharp teeth like swords and can strike like a nuclear bomb - you're lucky if you escape his strike! You wouldn't want to go near him, not even a mile away from him, would you like to meet him?
By Wade

The Big, Bad Wolf is as hairy as a lion's mane and has gleaming, red eyes and a cheeky smile. No one dares go near him because he is as dangerous as a snake bite. This devious creature is as suspicious as a policemen, he is very naughty and even attempts to eat Little Red Riding Hood and gobbles up her Granny! The Big, Bad Wolf is as intelligent as a teacher, maybe he is even smarter! His claws are as sharp as a pin too. I would not have liked to have met him, would you?
By Amanda

The Big, Bad Wolf is as enormous as an elephant and has fangs like a jaguar. He is as silent as a snail moving across the ground and as intelligent as the third little pig from the story The Three Little Pigs. His eyes are as red as fire and he's as gross as a stinky wet frog! You never, ever want to meet him!
By Riley

The Big, Bad Wolf is as dangerous as an animal and his eyes are as red as glowing lava. The wolf is as evil as a monster and as cheeky as a monkey. He is hungry and his tail is full of hair like a lion and his teeth are sharp like knives. The Big, Bad Wolf likes to eat people, especially old grannies!
